Panch Phoran.
A Bengali mix. Most often used in whole form, but can be ground. Masalas should be stored in dark airtight jars and as a rule improve with a bit of age.
Ingredients
- Fennel seed
- Mustard seed
- Fenugreek seed
- Cummin seed
- Onion seed (Kalonji)
Method
- Simply mix equal portions of the seed together and store
