Dry Spiced Lamb Chops

A delicate lamb chop dish that is simplicity itself to make ans is excellent for lunch, being light in flavour and easy to prepare. Serve with some spiced potatoes. The recipe is for 4 people
Ingredients
- 2 chump or loin chops per person, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/2 tspn mild chilli powder
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger crushed finely
- 1 clove garlic crushed finely
- 150ml plain yoghurt
- 1 tblspn oil
- salt and fresh black pepper to taste
Method
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and set aside for 2 hours
- Stir marinaded chops and then grill under preheated grill 4-6 minutes each side until cooked to liking
